"Leading Families to Live Empowered Lives"

spiritually ~. educationally. ~. Financially

Spiritual Power

The ELC gathers Sunday mornings to celebrate our Lord and Savior Jesus. Upon entering the worship center you will be greeted with a hug and a smile. Empowered Kids and Youth will lead your children through inspirational Biblical lessons, fun activities, and tasty snacks. The praise & worship team will lead you into the presence of God with contemporary Gospel songs and maybe a spiritual hymn.

Educational Power

The greatest tool available to Christian Believers is our faith. Education is not far behind. The ELC will teach the Bible with an anointing, power, and practical application. Empowered Tuesdays is a weekly Bible Study hosted by Pastor Barrett. If you desire a life-changing experience then you will find it Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings.

Financial Power

Here's the deal, The ELC cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. The ELC is a family of Sinners and Saints that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom. We believe in ministering to the whole person and the entire family so that they experience the abundance of God's blessings spiritually, educationally, and financially.

Where we come from

The Empowered Living Church (The ELC) launches Sunday, April 5, 2020 at 10:00 am. The vision of planing a new life-giving church in Charlotte began in 2017 with a group of new friends with a shared vision of expanding God's kingdom. Back then, this group of 12 imagined a church that was truly welcoming to everyone - where everyone had a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender. The ELC hosted its first gathering, a Financial Peace University class, in April 2016. The ELC three pillars of success are empowering families spiritually, educationally, and financially.

Where we're headed

What's the bottom line? More than ever, The ELC is committed to fostering a family built around love. Love for the future. Love for better. Love for progress. Love in Jesus. And as we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ. The ELC three pillars of success are empowering families spiritually, educationally, and financially.

What this means for you

What does this mean for you? Most importantly, you're always welcome at the The ELC. We're saving a seat for you. Wherever you're at in your faith journey, you'll always be accepted as part of The ELC family. The ELC three pillars of success are empowering families spiritually, educationally, and financially.
